The Relationship Check-up:

A Valentine’s Gift for Doctors, Lawyers, Police Officers, Social Workers and Their Partners

Work related stress and trauma can undermine our most crucial relationships. We regularly schedule appointments for our teeth or our bodies, yet we often take something as important as our relationships for granted.

The relationship check-up highlights the strengths that a couple already has, and also points out potential relational vulnerabilities that they could work on. The check-up is a 45-minute session that includes a questionnaire followed by a discussion with a trauma and relationship expert. The check-up is an educational tool rather than relational therapy, and it’s helpful for all couples.

The relationship check-up is a fitting and meaningful Valentine’s gift for doctors, lawyers, police officers, social workers and their partners. Not only is it free, it is a proactive and fun way for all couples to spend time empowering their relationship.
